Job Description

  • Regional Business Development & Opportunity Creation (35%)
  • Identify, develop, and qualify L3/L4 solution opportunities across the region, aligned with regional and global strategies
  • Drive opportunities within established industries, including Chemical, Specialty Chemicals, Metals & Mining, Pulp & Paper, Fertilizer, Cement, Textile, Electrical & Electronics, and Automotive
  • Build new business pipelines in emerging sectors such as Data Centers, Railway, Semiconductor, Battery & EV, and Recycling
  • Engage stakeholders across technical, operational, and management levels to uncover challenges and translate them into solution opportunities
  • Solution Shaping & Pre-Sales Leadership (30%)
  • Lead early-stage solution development, including value proposition creation, business case development, and solution positioning
  • Act as the regional focal point for L3/L4 solutions, collaborating with country sales teams, pre-sales engineers, SMEs, and global solution teams
  • Support opportunity strategy, proposal alignment, and executive-level presentations
  • Ensure consistency, differentiation, and value-based positioning of solutions across the region
  • Regional Coordination & Country Enablement (20%)
  • Enable country teams in opportunity pursuit, qualification, and governance processes
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders (RHQ, LCOs, YHQ, SMEs, Solution Architects) to accelerate deal progress
  • Share best practices, success stories, and lessons learned to strengthen regional capabilities
  • Act as a trusted regional advisor, driving strategic value beyond transactional selling
  • Business Performance, Governance & Reporting (15%)
  • Own pipeline health, opportunity conversion, and forecast accuracy for assigned opportunities
  • Track and report progress in accordance with regional governance requirements
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, ethics, and governance standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of regional business development processes

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a STEM discipline (Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or equivalent)
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Pre-Sales, Sales, or Business Development within Industrial Automation or related solution businesses
  • Proven track record in solution-based selling beyond basic control systems.
  • Strong understanding of L2 – ICSS (DCS / SIS), L3/L4 solutions (e.g., MES, Advanced Applications, Asset Performance, Energy Management and Digital/Enterprise Solutions, ERP)
  • Experience in a regional or multi-country environment is highly preferred
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate customer challenges into financial and operational value
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders
  • Highly self-motivated, with the ability to work independently in a regional role.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-cultural collaboration skills
  • Willingness to travel within the region as required
