Job Description

Headquartered in Singapore, Momentum Works builds, scales and manages tech ventures across emerging markets, with a particular focus on Southeast Asia and Middle East. We combine strategic understanding, execution experience and a great team to make

things happen. We also work with a network of partners to consult on strategy, venture financing and other areas of operations.

Over the last two years, our insights have garnered attention from key decision makers in tech startups, investors, as well as major corporations. We are now looking for a Regional business development and community manager to develop our Momentum Works services (corporate due diligence, insights, academy, advisory).

Responsibilities:

  • Build, develop and maintain relationships / accounts with potential clients in Singapore, SE Asia, China, Japan and India

  • Build and maintain a community of key stakeholders/influencers

  • Track, communicate and evaluate progress of projects and metrics by providing regular status reports

  • Keep updated on the changing needs and wants of the investment / startup market

  • Able to work with corporate strategy and insights team to develop new products to meet clients needs

  • Ensure timely delivery of projects to clients

Requirements:

  • Preferably 1 years experience in research, consulting or any other discipline where in-depth and yet engaging insights are produced (and communicated) Fresh graduates will also be considered

  • Ability to effectively lead cross border teams, and manage internal/external stakeholders

  • Real interest in the areas we focus on (tech/internet in emerging markets)

  • A logical and creative mind, with good writing/storytelling skills, Global mindset, and proficiency in (at least) English, Chinese and a 3rd language

  • Fast learner, with a good sense of humour

  • Able to travel to across Asia to support clients and speak to investors/ corporate clients
