As the Regional Senior/Business Controller, Parfums APAC, you will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer, Parfums APAC Managing Director and country/sales area managers, acting as a Business Partner to support decision-making and provide indicated actions. You will manage all financial and administration topics related to the Perfume Division in Asia Pacific (main point of contact for reporting, budgeting, business analysis, credit/internal control) interacting with HQ Finance team.

What you can expect from the role:

  • Sales reporting and analysis: weekly sales reports, assess the profitability
  • Support Commercial & Marketing Team on Sell Out Monitoring. Be the point of contact between the team and external suppliers (panels) to guarantee accuracy of the data.
  • Credit control for all clients: liaise with Corporate Risk on credit terms/limit for existing or new accounts, manage credit block/release
  • Support resource optimization through A&P recco process and spending monitoring, Personnel Costs assessment and overheads investigation
  • Monitor stock level and quality and relevant P&L impact through obsolescence provision
  • P&L Monitoring and Control, being able to identify risks and give recommendations to the MD.
  • Follow financial closings from the affiliates, being the main point of contact between region-HQ, making sure the books are compliant with Brands & LVMH rules.
  • Budget: support the budget, revisions and 3-year plan processes and presentations; prepare sales and P&L with country managers/ASM, coordinating with the various departments to ensure timely submission to Corporate and alignment with Company strategy
  • New projects: analysis and recommendations to support business model evolution in the different countries, preparation of ad hoc reports and presentations needed on this purpose
  • Procurement: monitor the compliance with the companys purchase procedures, audit invoices vs supplier contracted rates, support legal department in contract management, manage contract renewals with expiration notifications and terminations, work on cost optimization/savings on each and every activity
  • Internal control: conduct training to enhance internal controls/financial understanding and customer data protection awareness, ensure anti-money laundering rules are complied, fraud reporting to MD/HR/Corporate, provide support on ad-hoc special control issues raised by MD, facilitate and manage internal audit
  • Liaise with legal on distributor agreement terms and conditions properly assessing the economic impact of any change, review contracts with business vendors/partners liaising with legal and accounting teams
  • Pricing: perform the price study to guarantee coherence between channels, lines, countries, in collaboration with heads of region, marketing team and International Pricing team in Corporate HQ.
  • Liaise with IT and support activities for new projects (SAP/POS), cooperate with IT and Corporate to implement new functionalities
  • Improve efficiency across all managed processes

  • Bachelors or higher degree in Finance.
  • 10+ years experience in Financial operations / similar role
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Fluent in English, good communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team, self-organized, disciplined and hands-on
  • High level of professionalism and attention to details
