Job Summary:
The Regional Account Director is responsible for the leadership, growth, and delivery of one or more of our key regional strategic clients. These accounts are identified by their revenue size, growth potential, and market complexity.
With full P&L ownership and direct management of multi-market client teams, the Regional Account Director is accountable for client success — ensuring retention, satisfaction, profitability, and growth. Acting as the senior point of contact for C-suite client stakeholders, this role combines strategic leadership, commercial accountability, and delivery excellence across markets.
The role will be expected to drive revenue growth for the group through the delivery of regional leading client outcomes and the stickiness of our client relationships through elevating the relationship it results in improved business performance.
Responsibilities:
Client Leadership
- Serve as the senior lead and trusted advisor for regional strategic clients, managing C-suite and senior client stakeholder relationships.
- Drive 100% client retention through strong engagement, innovation, and delivery excellence.
- Ensure client satisfaction across all markets, achieving consistently high NPS scores.
- Act as the escalation point for client issues, ensuring swift resolution and communication.
Financial Ownership
- Hold full P&L responsibility for assigned client(s), delivering revenue, gross profit, and operating margin targets.
- Ensure margin integrity and sustainable profitability across all deliverables.
- Partner with the Chief Operating Officer to identify optimisation opportunities and drive bottom-line impact
- Ensure team resources are optimised to deliver client needs effectively and efficiently.
Growth & Innovation
- Deliver the agreed client budget with an additional 5% organic revenue growth stretch annually.
- Build and execute client growth plans, identifying opportunities for cross-sell, up-sell, and expansion across markets.
- Represent Tag as an industry SME to partner with the Chief Growth and Product Officer on large-scale new business opportunities linked to assigned clients.
- Share best practices and contribute to the broader Client Network across APAC.
Business Growth & Pitch Leadership
- Lead new business pitches within your client portfolio, shaping compelling narratives and solutions.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to grow existing accounts.
- Represent APAC's sector vision in regional and global opportunities as required Team Development & Mentorship
- Mentor, inspire, and develop team across all APAC markets.
- Build and grow high-performing operational teams
- Foster collaboration between APAC markets and global client teams as required Cross-Functional Collaboration · Work closely with production, product, practices, innovation, and strategy teams to deliver cohesive client solutions.
- Collaborate with global teams within the broader network to align on standards, share best practices, and elevate regional output for client portfolio.
Requirements:
- Experience leading client teams
- Proven track record in delivering organic client growth and partnerships
- Strong client experience, with hands-on involvement in shaping strategy and execution.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and inspire diverse teams across JAPAC
- Ability to collaborate effectively with production, strategy, innovation, and product functions.
- Experience navigating regional and global agency networks is an advantage.
- Proven ability to develop effective solutions.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility.
