Job Description

Job purpose:

Regional Account Based Sales Manager drives revenue growth and market penetration across Southeast Asia through a strategic, account focused sales approach. This role manages key accounts, builds strategic accounts within Southeast Asia, and works cross‑functionally to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Account Based Sales Head to align regional sales forecasts, targets, and business expectations.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive regional business plan to grow sales pipeline and achieve revenue objectives across assigned accounts and territories.
  • Identify, engage, and develop strategic accounts and prospective clients across Southeast Asia region through a structured account-based sales approach.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key regional accounts and partners.
  • Develop and manage a network of strategic accounts within Southeast Asia, supporting long-term business growth.
  • Lead solution development efforts that best address strategic accounts and end-user needs, coordinating the involvement of all necessary internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work in close coordination with area sales teams to support deal progression and closure.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and hands-on demonstrations of the Company's products, applications, and technology solutions to drive sales conversion.
  • Facilitate meetings, and product sharing sessions with key accounts as required.
  • Support regional marketing activities including seminars, trade shows, conferences, and other promotional events.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to provide actionable insights to Account Based Sales Head and product marketing teams.
  • Provide technical input and application expertise during the pre-sales process to support solution design and customer proposals.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, account plans, and pipeline updates as required by management.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in account management, or business development within the industrial electrical, electronics, or automation products.
  • Experience in solution selling, channel/partner development, and engaging with multi-stakeholder.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to engage effectively at all organisational levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret business data and translate insights into sales strategies.
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Self-driven, persistent, and proactive with a strong customer-first mindset and results orientation.
  • Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Willing to travel regularly across Southeast Asia region for customer meetings, training, and events.
