Job Description

Executive Compass is looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team and support search assignments across the Southeast Asia region.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded recruiter who enjoys building strong client relationships, developing new business, and delivering high-quality recruitment outcomes across multiple markets.

About the role

In this role, you will manage end-to-end recruitment assignments across SEA while also actively driving business development. You will partner closely with clients and candidates to deliver strong hiring outcomes, expand existing accounts, and identify new opportunities for growth.

You will work across a range of mid to senior-level mandates, with exposure to regional hiring projects, client development, and direct market engagement. The role requires someone who is confident, proactive, and able to operate effectively in a fast-moving, performance-driven environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage recruitment assignments across Southeast Asia from intake through to placement.

  • Develop new business opportunities and build a strong pipeline of prospective clients.

  • Grow and maintain existing client relationships through consistent communication and delivery.

  • Source, screen, and assess candidates using a variety of search and networking methods.

  • Write compelling job adverts and candidate outreach messages.

  • Provide market insights, salary feedback, and hiring recommendations to clients.

  • Work collaboratively with the wider team to support delivery and commercial growth goals.

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience in recruitment, executive search, or agency consulting.

  • Strong knowledge of the SEA talent market.

  • Business development experience with a track record of winning and growing client accounts.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.

  • A commercial mindset with the ability to understand client needs and candidate motivations.

  • Highly organised, self-driven, and comfortable managing multiple assignments.
