The Recruitment Consultant (Contract Staffing) manages high-volume hiring for contract and temporary roles while driving business development efforts. This role focuses on client acquisition, account servicing, candidate sourcing, and ensuring timely deployment of contract staff. A strong sales mindset, fast execution, and excellent relationship-building skills are essential.
1. Client Acquisition & Sales
Identify and secure new business opportunities in key industries (e.g., logistics, admin, F&B, retail, manufacturing).
Conduct sales calls, client visits, and presentations to introduce staffing solutions.
Prepare proposals, quotations, and service agreements.
Achieve monthly sales targets, GP, and revenue goals.
Maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business.
2. Account Management
Act as the main point of contact for clients regarding contract staffing needs.
Understand clients job requirements, urgency levels, and manpower planning.
Provide timely updates, manpower availability, and delivery timelines.
Handle client issues, feedback, and contract staff performance concerns.
3. Recruitment & Deployment (Contract Staffing)
Source, screen, and interview candidates for temporary and contract roles.
Manage high-volume recruitment pipelines and quick turnaround placements.
Coordinate interviews, job briefings, and deployment arrangements.
Ensure proper onboarding, documentation, timesheet collection, and compliance.
Maintain candidate database and build pipelines for recurring roles.
4. Contract Staff Management
Monitor contract employees attendance, performance, and contract renewals.
Handle basic HR matters such as replacements, extensions, and terminations.
Support payroll team with necessary information on hours, absenteeism, and changes.
Diploma/Degree in any field.
1-3 years of experience in contract/temp staffing or manpower outsourcing preferred.
Strong sales ability with proven track record in acquiring new accounts.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage high-volume roles.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Resourceful, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
