Job Description

As the Senior Manager, APAC Recruiting Lead, you will oversee endtoend recruitment strategy and execution across Southeast Asia, Australia & New Zealand, Japan, and India, while also supporting Avanade's expansion into emerging APAC markets. With accelerating growth in Japan and newly established market units across the region, you will be a critical member of the APAC Leadership Team-partnering closely with senior executives to shape talent strategies and scale hiring to meet ambitious business goals.

In this role, you will:

  • Design and drive APAC-wide recruiting strategies that enable business growth, support diverse market needs, and deliver a high-performing, scalable hiring engine.

  • Partner closely with regional and market unit leaders to understand talent priorities and influence workforce planning and strategic talent decisions.

  • Enhance and optimize the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a seamless and exceptional candidate experience from first touch through onboarding.

  • Champion Avanade's employer brand across APAC markets and ensure our value proposition is recognized globally as a top employer in the technology and consulting space.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a geographically dispersed recruiting team, fostering a culture of inclusion, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

  • Establish data-driven metrics and performance frameworks to measure effectiveness, identify opportunities, and continually improve recruiting outcomes.

  • Manage recruiting budgets and operational plans, ensuring resources are used strategically and efficiently to support hiring needs.

  • Travel as needed to partner with market leaders, support teams, and engage with regional stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive recruitment or talent acquisition experience, including 5+ years leading recruiting teams in large, matrixed, or multinational organizations.

  • Experience overseeing full-cycle recruiting across APAC or other diverse, multi-country regions.

  • Demonstrated expertise driving high-volume, high-complexity hiring, particularly within technology, consulting, or professional services industries.

  • Proven ability to partner with senior executives, influence decision-making, and translate business needs into actionable talent strategies.

  • Strong understanding of APAC labor markets, hiring trends, and employment regulations.

  • Track record of building and mentoring high-performing teams, ideally across time zones and virtual environments.

  • Comfort working in highly dynamic, high-growth environments, with the ability to adapt quickly and lead change.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

  • Ability to travel, as required.
