Key Responsibilities
- Perform nostro account reconciliations across regional entities.
- Investigate reconciliation breaks independently and collaboratively with business units.
- Ensure timely completion of reconciliations within agreed SLA timelines.
- Conduct monthly GL Account Ownership (GLAO) reconciliations and highlight aging breaks.
- Respond to ad-hoc queries and issues from business/support units.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance automation and create auto-matching rules.
- Recommend process improvements to reduce operational risks and increase productivity.
- Participate in new business initiatives and assess reconciliation requirements.
- Manage and monitor project-related changes, risks, and issues.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, guidelines, and codes of conduct.
Requirements
- Bachelor&aposs degree in Finance or any related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in banking operations.
- With background in Cash Operations, Remittance, Treasury & Markets, and break investigation.
- Experience with SmartStream TLM or similar reconciliation systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills - written, spoken, and presentation.
- Ability to work independently and engage with stakeholders effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Demonstrated leadership and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
