Job Summary
JUTURNA PTE. LTD. seeks a skilled Reclaimer Excavator Operator to perform material handling, sand spreading, trimming, and earthworks for marine reclamation projects in Singapore, working on vessels or project sites with site supervisors and marine teams.
Responsibilities
- Operate reclaimer excavators to spread sand, trim, level, and handle materials for reclamation projects
- Perform earthworks activities following project specifications and safety standards
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance to ensure machinery reliability
- Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, and vessel crews to execute tasks safely and efficiently
- Adhere to workplace safety requirements to maintain a safe operating environment
- Support general site activities as needed to assist project progress
- Maintain cleanliness and proper care of assigned equipment to ensure operational readiness
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience operating reclaimer excavators in construction, earthworks, or marine reclamation projects
- Ability to operate excavators safely and efficiently
- Basic understanding of site safety practices and compliance
- Willingness to work outdoors at project sites in Singapore (e.g., Changi, Tekong) and stay onboard vessels when required
- Basic communication skills to follow instructions and coordinate with teams
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience specifically in marine reclamation projects is preferred
