Job Description & Requirements
We are looking for a skilled and responsible Rebar & Carpenter Supervisor to oversee and coordinate daily operations related to reinforcement bar (rebar) and carpentry work at our construction sites. The ideal candidate must have strong technical knowledge, leadership abilities, and hands-on experience in both trades.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate rebar installation and formwork carpentry teams
- Interpret construction drawings and ensure accurate execution of work
- Ensure proper placement, spacing, and anchoring of rebar in accordance with engineering specifications
- Oversee formwork construction, alignment, and dismantling work
- Ensure work is done safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project deadlines
- Conduct daily site briefings and enforce safety standards
- Monitor quality of work and rectify any on-site issues promptly
- Maintain daily work records, attendance, and progress reports
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders
Requirements:
- At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in rebar or carpentry works
- Good knowledge of structural drawings, formwork systems, and rebar detailing
- Ability to lead a multi-national workforce and manage subcontractors
- Familiar with local building regulations and safety requirements
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced construction environment
- Possess a valid CSOC / BCSS certificate will be advantage
- Able to work 6 days/week and perform site duties as required
