The Real Estate Investment Analyst will provide data-driven insights and strategic analysis across the entire property lifecycle, supporting acquisition, development, operational performance, and divestment decisions. Key responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Acquisition Analysis: Evaluate potential investment opportunities through financial modeling, market research, and scenario analysis to support acquisition decisions.
- Development Feasibility: Conduct cost-benefit and risk assessments for development projects, analyzing construction timelines, budgets, and projected returns.
- Operational Performance: Monitor and analyze property performance metrics, including occupancy rates, rental yields, and operating expenses, to optimize asset value.
- Marketing Data Analytics: Assess marketing campaign effectiveness, lead conversion rates, and tenant engagement data to inform leasing strategies and revenue growth.
- Portfolio Optimization: Identify underperforming assets and recommend strategies for improvement or divestment based on market trends and financial performance.
- Lifecycle Reporting: Develop dashboards and reports that provide senior stakeholders with actionable insights across acquisition, development, operations, and sale phases.
- Market Intelligence: Research macroeconomic trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes impacting real estate investments.
- Data Governance: Ensure accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of all data used for investment analysis and decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Finance or related field.
- Minimum 3 years experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or market research (preferably in asset-heavy or construction industries).
- Proficiency in Excel and other data visualization platforms.
