Job Description

Regional Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Global Real Estate and Facilities team to develop and implement real estate strategies that align with Cognex's Mission and Overall Strategy across the Asia region.
  • Work with the Global Real Estate and Facilities team to research, select, and implement Real Estate and FM software for lease portfolio management, space planning, asset management, and Help Desk operations.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business needs for real estate and facilities planning.
  • Lead the creation and management of the facilities budget in Asia for both capital and operating expenditures.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of real estate transactions across Asia, including:Gathering business requirements, Working with brokers on site searches, Partnering with internal teams (IT, Legal, Security, etc.), Supporting end users on programming and space planning, Coordinating with contractors on negotiations, project execution, and tenant improvements
  • Support local site teams on facilities-related matters, landlord coordination, and daytoday operational issues.
  • Work with regional teams to support and implement Sustainability Initiatives.
  • Oversee facilities operations for assigned Asia locations, including vendor management, service quality, and operational compliance.
  • Conduct regular facilities inspections to ensure high standards, safety, and smooth operations.
  • Ensure quality and regulatory compliance for all in-house and contract maintenance activities.
  • Manage all Facilities, Contracts and maintain a review process for contracts such as SecurityWaste management, Janitorial, Alarm systems and CCTV, Pest control, HVAC, Fire safety, Catering, Electrical and other utilities
  • Drive costreduction initiatives and efficiency improvements within facilities operations.
  • Ensure all necessary regulatory services, permits, certifications, and statutory requirements are in place for each site.
  • Support office moves, desk allocations, and space utilization planning.
  • Implement and manage predictive maintenance tools for facilities equipment where appropriate.
  • Lead and support adhoc projects as required by the Company.
