Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and manage weekly programmes across various Lakeside centres
- Create a positive and conducive learning environment with effective classroom management
- Assess students learning needs and set realistic, measurable goals for progress
- Collaborate closely with parents, volunteers, and community stakeholders
- Recruit, screen, orient, and train new volunteers
- Provide on-the-job coaching and ongoing guidance to support volunteer development
- Support staff in ensuring effective programme delivery
- Organise and facilitate events, outings, and holiday programmes
- Assist in programme management, planning, and evaluation
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience
- Must be available to work on Saturday mornings
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field
- Prior experience working with young children is highly advantageous
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Genuine passion for working with children and families
- Basic computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint) are a plus
