About the Role

We are looking for an experienced React JS Developer to join our team in Singapore on a 6-month contract, with a possibility of extension.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ReactJS and modern frontend development, along with hands-on experience in Micro Frontend (MFE) architecture and Webpack Module Federation. This role is best suited for someone who has worked on large-scale, complex frontend applications and is comfortable with performance optimization, integrations, and CI/CD practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using ReactJS.
• Build reusable and maintainable frontend components and architectures.
• Work extensively with React Hooks, Redux, Context API, and state management.
• Design and implement Micro Frontend (MFE) architecture.
• Work with Webpack Module Federation, including shared modules, navigation, data sharing, and multiple React MFE versions.
• Manage and maintain large-scale Micro Frontend environments, including 100+ MFEs.
• Work with Monorepo setups and shared module configurations.
• Optimize React applications for performance and scalability.
• Implement dynamic caching strategies where required.
• Integrate applications with REST APIs and third-party applications.
• Perform performance tuning and troubleshooting of web servers such as Nginx and IIS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing, and issue resolution.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in ReactJS, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Hands-on experience with React Hooks, Redux, Context API, and state management.
• Strong experience with Micro Frontend architecture.
• Deep expertise in Webpack Module Federation.
• Experience managing large-scale MFE implementations, preferably 100+ Micro Frontends.
• Experience with Monorepo management and shared module configuration.
• Strong understanding of frontend performance optimization and caching.
• Experience with REST API and third-party integrations.
• Knowledge of Nginx and IIS performance tuning.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Strong knowledge of Git and version control.
• Experience with Jest, React Testing Library, or similar testing frameworks.

Eligibility

• Around 8 years of relevant ReactJS/frontend development experience.
• Must be Singapore-based.
• Singapore Citizens are preferred.
• Candidates should be available to join the assignment as per the required start date.
