Job Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging examinations in accordance with established clinical protocols and procedures.
- Operate radiographic and imaging equipment safely and effectively to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Position patients appropriately and select suitable imaging techniques based on examination requirements.
- Ensure radiation safety and protection measures are observed for patients, staff and members of the public.
- Assess image quality and ensure images are suitable for diagnostic interpretation.
- Assist doctors and other healthcare professionals during imaging procedures where required.
- Maintain proper infection control, workplace safety and cleanliness within the imaging department.
- Participate in quality assurance activities and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and departmental requirements.
- Work closely with radiologists, nurses and other healthcare professionals to support timely patient care.
- Perform other radiography-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Degree in Diagnostic Radiography / Radiography or equivalent recognised qualification.
- Valid registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) in Singapore.
- Good knowledge of radiation safety and imaging procedures.
- Able to operate radiographic equipment safely and confidently.
- Good patient care, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Meticulous with strong attention to patient identification, safety and image quality.
