Job Description:
. Research & Development for machine tool products and technologies (CNC Milling Machines and it's Automation) with strong guidance by experienced senior-engineers along the career-path
. New Software-Development as well as Software Design for our existing Series Products
. Software Development of Customized Machines for our customers
. Prototyping in dedicated R&D-Lab
. Collaboration with extensive global network of Makino R&Ds, Sales-Regions and Key-Suppliers

Key Responsibilities:
. Understand customer requirement and decide on the specification
. Prepare specification and testing method documents
. Prepare software (PLC - Ladder, C/C++, VB etc..)
. Test software on simulator / actual machine
. Prepare operator / maintenance manuals
. Release software and related document for distribution / record purposes
. Develop new functions to improve productivity and give good features to have added advantage over the competitor products
. Involve in the design of HMI / Servo turning / PLC programming / Parameterization / Commissioning

Job Requirements:
. Possess a Diploma/ Degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechatronics or equivalent
. Have at least 3 years of experience working in Machine Tool Software Design
. Working experience on SiEMENS SINUMERIK CNC controller with HMI / Servo turning / PLC programming / Parameterization / Commissioning is a must.
. Strong interest in product for the production-environment as key-enabler for many innovative products.
. Creativity for innovative solutions as well as strong analytical skills for problem-solving and can do hands-on works (testing)
. Able to take responsibility and ownership.
. Willing to travel to customer site for technical discussion / project implementation when required.
. Good and effective communication skills.
