OfficeThe Microarray Bioinformatics team in the Life Science Group of Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a skilled and motivated bioinformatics scientist to develop and maintain pipelines for processing, curating and integrating public and proprietary biological datasets into analysis workflows.
How will you make an impact
The successful applicant will work closely with Thermo Fisher Scientific scientists in the analysis and interpretation of genomic data including DNA microarrays, sequencing data, and other molecular data types for applications such as calling gene copy number, genotyping SNPs, methylation, gene expression and more. The candidate will apply creative approaches to understanding genomic data and developing analytical pipelines in the development of products that improve human and animal health.

Education
PhD or Masters with 3+ years of experience in Bioinformatics, computational biology, computer science or a related field. Bachelors degree holders with highly relevant experience are eligible for consideration.
