Design and develop technical solutions for assigned projects within defined budgets and quality standards
Lead all stages of project management, including R&D, process engineering, scale-up to production, and regulatory compliance
Develop test plans, manage R&D timelines, and align with departmental objectives
Independently plan and execute research projects, conduct / monitor experiments, and support laboratory operations
Coordinate trials, collect and analyse data, and document laboratory experiments per project schedules
Prepare professional technical reports and documentation for clients, subcontractors, and investors
Collaborate with subcontractors and third-party service providers for experimental activities
Identify and engage metallurgical laboratories and subcontractors to test metal formulation through master alloy preparation, melting, processing (casting, rolling, forming, coiling, etc.), and full quality testing across different metal families
Build and maintain a library of molecules and additives and lead the execution of proof-of-concept (POC) pilots and live client demonstrations
Supervise assistant researchers, offering guidance and resources to ensure project success
Manage project-related administrative tasks including expense reporting, invoice approval, and data tracking and
