R&D Packaging Manager

We are seeking an experienced Packaging Manager to lead packaging development across a diverse portfolio of food throughout the APAC region. This is a high-impact role where you will drive innovation, sustainability initiatives, packaging optimisation, and technical excellence from concept through to commercialisation.

What You'll Do

• Lead packaging development for new product launches and innovation projects
• Drive sustainable packaging initiatives and recyclability improvements
• Support manufacturing trials, commissioning, and scale-up activities
• Deliver value engineering and cost optimisation programs
• Resolve packaging quality and performance challenges
• Partner with suppliers to identify new technologies and packaging solutions
• Collaborate closely with R&D, Marketing, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain teams across APAC

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years packaging experience within FMCG, food manufacturing in particular
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials, technologies, and packaging development processes
• Experience leading cross-functional packaging projects from concept to launch
• Background in sustainable packaging, packaging optimisation, or packaging innovation
• Strong stakeholder management and project leadership skills
• Degree in Packaging, Engineering, Material Science, or a related field
