Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented R&D Executive to join our team. This role will focus on product research, innovation, and development across our FMCG, Soymilk, Pancake, and Food categories. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food science, culinary development, or product innovation, and will play a key role in driving new product launches while ensuring consistent quality, cost efficiency, and market competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and develop new food and beverage products across soymilk, FMCG, pancake, and food categories.
- Continuously improve existing recipes and formulations to enhance taste, quality, nutritional value, and shelf life.
- Conduct product testing, trials, and sensory evaluations to ensure consistency and customer acceptance.
- Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams on product development, cost control, and scalability.
- Ensure all new products comply with food safety, regulatory, and Halal requirements.
- Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and consumer preferences to identify innovation opportunities.
- Prepare product specifications, SOPs, and training guides for new product rollouts.
- Support seasonal/limited-time menu launches and special projects.
- Work with suppliers to source new ingredients, packaging, and technology solutions.
- Calculate and manage COGS for products.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Culinary Arts, or related fields.
- 1-3 years of experience in food product development, preferably in F&B chains, FMCG, or QSR industry.
- Strong understanding of food safety, HACCP, and Halal compliance.
- Creative mindset with strong problem-solving and sensory evaluation skills.
- Good project management and documentation abilities.
- Passionate about food trends, innovation, and delivering high-quality consumer experiences.
