Job Description



Responsibilities:

  • Improve current test methodology to meet customers new requirement and transfer it to Engineering Assistants.
  • Develop new setups and new design for Sputtering processes and transfer them to Engineering Assistants.
  • Understand the relationship between reliability tests and head/media design.
  • Find the root cause in test failure with the help from internal material science lab.
  • Supervise and lead a team of Engineering Assistants and Technicians.
  • Compile testing results to report to R&D team.
  • Co-ordinate with other teams to facilitate engineering knowledge exchange.
  • Ensure compliance to ISO Standard Operating Procedures.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Material Science and Engineering.
  • Sputtering Related Skills in CVD/PVD process, Minitab, and Excel.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the R&D Hard Disk manufacturing environment will be considered for a higher position.
  • No experience with knowledge in Sputter Carbon overcoat processes & design can be considered.
