Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates and quotations based on construction drawings, specifications, and site requirements
• Maintain proper measurement records and supporting documentation
• Request, evaluate and negotiate supplier/subcontractor quotations
• Identify cost risks and propose value engineering options
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors
• Providing full assistance and support to the Company's Projects team
• Review tender conditions and prepare tender submissions
• Prepare and submit monthly progress claims to main contractors / clients
• Verify subcontractor claims and ensure accuracy
• Contract administration such as review contract terms, manage variation orders, additional works and claims
• Ensure timely billing and collection
• Prepare and negotiate final accounts with clients and subcontractors
• Any other duties as may be required by the Company.

Requirement

• Diploma/Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Building, or related field
• 2-5 years of experience in construction industry (preferred)
• Ability to read construction/structural drawings
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of construction contracts
• Good negotiation and commercial awareness
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects
