Quantity Surveyor

Job Description

• Liaise with construction team to prepare document for Request for Quotation (RFQ) or Open Tender
• Source potential tenderers/subcontractors and send out invitation for RFQs
• Coordinate queries and clarifications between tenderers and construction team during RFQ stage
• Coordinate post-tender interviews between tenderers, construction team, QS team and contracts team
• Assist QS manager and contracts manager with quantity surveying matters relevant to Sub-Contract, Works Order and Purchase Order.
• Assist contracts team in administration of subcontracts
• Handle payment request received from subcontractors and suppliers
• Perform any other adhoc tasks assigned by QS Manager / Contracts Manager

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Survey, Civil, Mechanical or Electrical, or a related field.
• 3 years experience in quantity surveying and sub-contract administration of Construction Project
• Possess the relevant tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or Contract/Construction Law.
• Experience with large-scale process related construction project is preferable
