A Quantity Surveyor (QS) in construction company
manages project costs, from initial estimates to final accounts, ensuring projects stay within budget, time, and quality standards by handling budgeting, procurement, contracts, risk assessment, and liaising with clients/stakeholders, preparing documentation like tenders and reports, and managing payments and variations throughout the project lifecycle

Key Responsibilities
- : Develop cost estimates, budgets, and lifecycle cost analysis track expenditures and cash flow.
- : Prepare tender documents, negotiate contracts, manage variations, process payments, and settle final accounts.
- : Manage sourcing of labor, materials, and subcontractors.
- : Identify project risks, ensure compliance with regulations, quality standards, and health & safety protocols.
- : Create budget reports, progress reports, and maintain project documentation.
- : Advise clients on financial aspects, funding, and contractual issues.
