Job Description & Requirements
- Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities .
- Preparing and analyzing costing for tenders .
- Responsible for quantity take off, sourcing of subcontractors and suppliers .
- Willing to work at height rooftop solar system = inspection
- Prepare and submit variation and cost claims .
- Understand Solar system and electrical components.
- Procurement of materials and project related items .
- Manage project timeline and cost, carry out rates and commercial negotiations .
- Managing the contracts in accordance with the terms and conditions with respect to . financial complications .
- Others as when instructed by the Management/Reporting Officer.
- Cost Estimation & Management: Preparing detailed budgets, cost estimates (materials, labor, equipment), and cost-value reconciliations (CVR) to keep projects affordable.
- Procurement & Tendering: Preparing, reviewing, and analyzing tender documents, including bills of quantities, to award contracts to subcontractors.
- Contract Administration: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing contractual disputes.
- Site Evaluation & Reporting: Conducting site visits to monitor progress, measuring completed work, and preparing progress payments and final accounts.
- Risk Management: Identifying financial risks and implementing strategies to minimize costs and maximize profitability
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in reading Solar construction plans and understanding building methods.
- Numerical & Analytical Skills: High competency in mathematics and data analysis for cost reporting.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with estimation software, spreadsheets, and BIM technologies.
- Communication & Negotiation: Ability to liaise effectively with clients, architects, and contractors.
