Quantity Surveying:

. Review construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.

. Projecting cost estimates on various materials needed for a project.

. Coordinating with Site Managers, Site Engineers, and other team members to ensure the project is on time and on budget.

. Preparing contracts, legal tender documents, invoices, and other documentation.

. Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.

. Preparing cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.

. Managing contracts and tender processes.

. Monitoring project expenses and ensuring adherence to financial plans.

. Evaluating progress claims and finalizing accounts.

Qualifications & Experience:

. Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

. 5 years experience in construction industry.

. Member of SSSS or related Certificate is an advantage.

Technical Skills:

. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software.

. Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and measurement techniques.

. Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.

. Familiarity with quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, Cubicost) is a plus.

Soft Skills:

. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

. Good communication and teamwork skills.

. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

. Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
