QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Full Job Description

• Experience in both Pre and Post Contract Able to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications. Provide AutoCAD support in the form of sketches, shopdrawings or construction drawings.
• Estimate the quantity and costs of materials
• Prepare contracts and documents.
• Set budgets for payments, inventory needs, and materials
• Analyse costs for maintenance and additional building needs
• Track changes in plans or constructions update budgets
• Negotiate with contractors and subcontractors.
• Hire and document contractors and subcontractors
• Act as a liaison between clients and site managers/engineers
• Keep track of construction materials and inventory
• Identify potential financial or construction risks
• Advise clients on improvements, strategies, and/or estimated costs
• Prepare payments for contractors and subcontractors
• Analyse completed projects to determine ROI and compare costs
• Preferably specialized in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Responsible for cost estimating, quantity take off, claims preparations, variations and final accounts.
• General contracts administration, review of contracts, prepare tender and contract documentations, tender analyses and reporting, measurements, etc.
• Review sub-contractors claims and materials planning delivery on site.
• Ad hoc duties assigned by Operations Manager

Job Requirements

• All welcome toapply (Priority for those who have QS working experience in Singapore and can speak Chinese)
• Candidate must possess at least . Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, construction engineering, management, or related field
• At least 1-3 Years) of working experience, in SINGAPORE and in the related field is required for this position.
• Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Power Point.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task.
• Good written and communication both in English and Mandarin.
• Able to communicate in multi-languages will be added advantageous.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
