Provide regular updates to the Commercial Manager regarding work progress and challenges
Prepare progress claims and variation orders to Subcontractors
Assist the Commercial Manager in resolving contractual issues with subcontractors
Evaluate and prepare progress payment responses for subcontractors claims
Prepare documents for commercial audit purposes
Record and maintain a list of subcontractors
Collecting quotations, DOs and invoices from vendors, suppliers, subcontractors and clients
Compiling documents and send out RFQs
Conduct quantity take-offs and cost estimates for projects and tender submissions
Review project specifications and provide cost-benefit analyses
Assist in preparing financial reports and budgets
Monitor and file project variations and claims
Provide contractual advice to project teams on subcontractors contract obligations
Perform site measurements and cost assessments for completed works
Prepare documentation for progress claims and final accounts
Participate in site meetings and technical discussions
Source, evaluate and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors
Draft and prepare subcontracts for project execution
Monitor procurement processes to ensure compliance to baseline program activities
Prepare cost comparison for procurement of trades
Support overseas tendering, budgeting, and commercial management activities.
Assist in overseas project contract negotiations and financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
Perform any other duties assigned by the superior.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, commercial management or contract administration within large-scale construction projects.
Demonstrated experience in overseas projects, international tendering, or cross-border project execution will be a strong advantage.
Proven experience in LTA projects, infrastructure works or projects of comparable scale, complexity and contractual framework is highly preferred.
Solid experience in cost planning, budgeting, claims management, variation analysis and final account settlement.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and handle high-value contracts under tight timelines.
Able to work under a 5.5-day work week arrangement.
