Perform quantity take-off and measurements for tenders
Prepare document for inviting quotations, prepare comparison, tender report
Prepare and analyze costing for tenders
Perform risk and value management and cost control
Attend site showrounds, tender interviews and meetings as and when necessary
Prepare cost estimation, quantity take-off for materials procurement, cost evaluations, pre-qualification of sub-contractors
Administer pre and post contract duties including administering all debit notes for back-charges, purchases on behalf of sub-contractors, variations, finalize sub-accounts in the period of final measurement
Prepare, compile and submit progress claims in a timely manner including updating payment records
Check & prepare progress payment certificates for all sub-contractors including site valuations with supervisors
Oversee the Purchasing Executives in procurement duties such as selection, comparison, review/verify unit rates, check Purchase Orders, etc
Assisting and advising in contractual matters such as the extension of time, contractual correspondences, etc
Liaise with main contractors, sub-contractors, clients, project team, in-house factories, etc, for project execution and cost control.
Requirements:
Degree or Advanced Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
At least 3 years of quantity surveying experience, with experience in interior fit-out preferred
Knowledge of interior renovation work and factory procurement is an added advantage
Good computer literacy in Microsoft Office and good internet communication skills
Able to meet tight deadlines and work under high pressure
