Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

The quantity surveyor's duties shall include the following:

. Attend to clients briefing and establish the scope of work at hand

. Preparation of feasibility studies

. Preparation of cost plans, cost estimates and cash flow projections

. Advise clients on procurement strategy

. Preparation of tender documents

. Evaluation of tenders received and make recommendations for award of Contract

. Preparation of Letter of Acceptance and Contract Documents

. Evaluation of progressive claims

. Financial reporting including evaluation of variation work during the progress of work

. Advise clients on contractual issues

. Preparation of Final Account

Requirements

The quantity surveyor should preferably possess the following attributes:

. Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent

. Preferably with relevant working experiece
