Job Summary

Witflux Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage financial aspects of construction projects, optimize resource use, and deliver value for clients in the Yishun North Region.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents to support accurate project budgeting and bidding processes
• Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to secure favorable terms and ensure compliance
• Monitor project costs and expenditures continuously, delivering regular financial reports to project managers to inform decision-making
• Identify and evaluate cost-saving opportunities throughout construction phases to enhance project profitability
• Advise project teams on contractual and commercial matters, resolving disputes efficiently to maintain project progress
• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to ensure construction projects are delivered within budget and on schedule

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost management, and financial reporting
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Proficient in quantity surveying software and relevant digital tools
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to work effectively with multi-disciplinary teams
• Familiarity with local regulations and industry standards in the construction sector
