Job Summary
Perform quantity surveying tasks including cost estimation, contract documentation, and progress claims to support timely tender completion. Collaborate with subcontractors and clients to ensure project accuracy and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Tabulate quantities and estimate costs to prepare accurate requests for quotation
- Apply knowledge of electrical products and costings to support project budgeting and procurement
- Update contract documents, drawings, and correspondences to maintain current project records
- Submit progress claims and site valuations to track project financial status
- Prepare Variation Orders for submission to manage contract changes effectively
- Liaise with subcontractors and clients to coordinate project requirements and resolve issues
- Ensure timely completion of assigned tenders by managing tasks and deadlines efficiently
- Utilize Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and AutoCAD to produce and manage project documentation
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of quantity surveying experience
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and AutoCAD
