Roles & Responsibilities
Location: Singapore
Key Responsibilities: (Tender QS and Project QS)
Tender QS:
- Review tender documents and prepare competitive tender submissions, including Bills of Quantities/ Materials (BOQ & BOM).
- Analyse project specifications, drawings, and schedules to develop cost estimates.
- Source and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Collaborate with the business development and project teams to ensure tender compliance and alignment.
- Identify and mitigate tender risks to maximize project profitability.
Project QS:
- Prepare, monitor, and manage project budgets, cost forecasts, and cash flow.
- Evaluate and certify progress claims, variations, and final accounts for contractors and suppliers.
- Conduct cost analysis, risk assessments, and value engineering to optimize project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and manage disputes effectively.
- Liaise with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to provide accurate cost advice and updates.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. (Medium and Low Voltage Power Supply System)
- Min. 3 years of working experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost control, and tender procedures.
- Proficiency in QS software and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
- Salary Range: $4000 - $4500
- Able to start immediately or on short notice
