Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-orientedQuantity Surveyor & Project Coordinator to support project cost management,procurement, contract administration, and project coordination activities. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered within budget, on schedule, and according to quality and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, quotations, and tender documents for projects.
  • Perform quantity take-offs and cost analysis based on project drawings and specifications.
  • Monitor project costs, expenditures, and budgets to ensure cost efficiency.
  • Coordinate project activities with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments.
  • Manage procurement processes, including sourcing, obtaining quotations, evaluating suppliers, and tracking deliveries.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, progress updates, and meeting minutes.
  • Monitor project schedules, timelines, and milestones to ensure timely completion.
  • Handle variation orders, claims, contract administration, and final account preparation.
  • Follow up on project submissions, approvals, and project deliverables.
  • Assist in planning project resources, schedules, and work execution.
  • Resolve project coordination issues and maintain effective communication among stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, company procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support management in project planning, cost control, and overall project execution.
  • Maintain accurate records of project costs, procurement activities, and project progress.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, project coordination, construction, engineering, automotive, or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of cost estimation, budgeting, procurement, contract administration, and project coordination.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, and project management tools.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Construction and engineering projects.
  • Automotive, fleet management, or workshop operations.
  • Procurement and contract administration.
