Quantity Surveyor (P&S)

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates as required.
• Review all tender documents and drawings to fully understand project requirements.
• Prepare comparison sheets for supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Review and clarify quotations with suppliers on detailed scope of works.
• Request clarification from clients regarding discrepancies in tender documents or drawings.
• Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best offers.
• Prepare measurement sheets and assist with quantity take-offs.
• Prepare complete tender submission documents in line with client requirements.
• Revise tender proposals in response to tender addendum documents issued by clients.
• Follow up on tender status with main contractors, consultants, and clients.
• Attend tender interviews with clients, deliver presentations, and address clarifications.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of electrical systems or plumbing & sanitary systems (preferred candidates have both).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and cost control skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office and relevant QS software/tools.
