Quantity Surveyor (Multiple Openings/Senior Position Available/Tender/Site/Cost Management)

Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Quantity Surveyor:

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and support both pre-contract and post-contract Quantity Surveying activities for building and civil construction projects.
• Perform quantity take-offs and measurements using CostX, Glodon, or other relevant quantity surveying software.
• Prepare and compile tender submissions, including bills of quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, quotations, price comparisons, costing summaries, tender qualifications, and supporting documentation.
• Source quotations from subcontractors and suppliers, evaluate commercial proposals, and conduct cost comparisons to achieve competitive and commercially viable pricing.
• Review tender documents and drawings, identify discrepancies, and raise tender queries for clarification with relevant stakeholders.
• Manage tender correspondence, addendums, revisions, and updates to ensure accurate and timely tender submissions.
• Prepare and submit progress payment claims and assess subcontractor and supplier progress claims in accordance with contractual requirements.
• Assist in the assessment, preparation, and administration of Variation Orders (VO), Extension of Time (EOT) claims, and other contractual matters.
• Support the preparation, negotiation, and finalisation of subcontractor, supplier, and project final accounts.
• Maintain accurate contractual, commercial, and site documentation to support progress claims, variations, EOT claims, and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs and provide cost control support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Contract Managers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams to ensure contractual and commercial requirements are met.
• Support workplace safety and health initiatives and comply with applicable safety requirements and company procedures.
• Perform other Quantity Surveying, contractual, and commercial duties assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience in the construction industry, preferably involving main building, civil, or main contractor projects.
• Experience in both pre-contract and post-contract activities, including tendering, cost estimation, progress claims, variation orders, EOT claims, and final accounts, will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with digital Quantity Surveying software such as CostX, Glodon, or equivalent systemswill be an advantage.
• Familiarity with MS Project and AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of construction methods, materials, market pricing, and construction cost trends.
• Strong numerical, analytical, cost management, and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple priorities and meeting tight project deadlines.

Additional Information:

• Salary: Up to SGD 6,000 + AWS + VB
• Working Location: Central/East Singapore
• Working Hours: 5/5.5 Days Work, 9am - 6pm
