Responsibilities:
. Prepare tender cost submission /measurement / quantity take off / cost evaluation.
. Perform quantity take-off for tender projects based on the set time line.
. Liaise and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers.
. Obtain quotations from suppliers and sub-contractors.
. Evaluate price comparison and costing summary.
. Ensure accurate measurement of quantities to assist in preparing progress payment claims, variation order
claims, and payments to subcontractors and suppliers, including final accounts.
. Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlements, and sub-contractor payments.
. Be meticulous, analytical, and proactive with excellent problem-solving skills.
. Work effectively as a team player and meet tight deadlines.
. Able to read M&E drawings.
. Maintenance of project documentation.
. Perform all other QS-related duties and any ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.
Requirements:
. Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying or Building or equivalent.
. Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience in a construction firm preferred.
. Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and under pressure to meet tight
deadlines.
. Have good knowledge of market updates and construction cost trends.
