Quantity Surveyor

Job Description:

. Prepare detailed cost estimates for MEP projects.

. Perform quantity take-offs for materials and labour required for MEP installations Assist in the preparation and submission of tender and contract documents

. Preparation and submission of progress payment claims and variation orders

. Attendance of site meeting and liaise with the cost consultant

. Evaluation and certification of supplier and subcontractor's claims

. Finalization and closing out of project accounts

. Estimation of quantities, evaluation and cost comparison of sub-contractors quotations

. Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control throughout project lifecycle.

. Assist in the preparation of tender documents and participate in the procurement process.

. Administer and manage contracts related to MEP works, including variations and claims.

. Identify opportunities for value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality.

. Identify and assess potential risks to cost and contract issues.

. Responsible for the compliance to safety & occupational health practices to be implemented in the Contracts Section.

Job Requirement:

. Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Quantity Surveying

. At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in Singapore M&E Industry

. Good communication and presentation skill.

. Able to work independantly with minimum supervison.
