Responsibilities:
- Manage post-contract commercial and quantity surveying activities for Electrical/M&E projects.
- Review contracts, tender documents, drawings, specifications, and addenda to identify scope variations and additional works.
- Prepare, substantiate, and submit Variation Orders (VOs) and contractual claims.
- Perform quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and rate build-ups for variation and additional works.
- Negotiate and follow up on VO submissions and claims with clients, consultants, and main contractors.
- Prepare progress claims and monitor project financial performance.
- Manage final accounts and ensure timely commercial closure of projects.
- Track project costs, outstanding variation claims, and commercial risks.
- Collaborate with project and site teams to identify, document, and support claims for additional works.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, Building, Construction Management or relevant fields.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying or commercial management within Electrical/M&E projects.
- Proven experience in post-contract administration and Variation Order (VO) management.
- Hands-on experience in preparing, substantiating, and negotiating variation claims with clients, consultants, and main contractors.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost management, and commercial administration.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple commercial matters concurrently.
