3G Electric (S) Pte. Ltd. supports industrial and commercial customers through the supply and after-sales support of industrial combustion equipment and fluid-handling components, including burners, burner spares/controls, gas train components, and high-pressure pumps.

Role Summary

You will manage costing, tendering, and contract administration for M&E-related works across DOSK's project operations and 3G Electric's service/installation activities, covering the full commercial cycle from pre-contract to final account. The role requires strong measurement discipline, accurate documentation, and timely claims/valuations.

Key Responsibilities

A) Pre-Contract / Tender

. Review drawings/specifications, conduct site familiarisation where required, and clarify scope with project/engineering teams.

. Prepare quantity take-offs, bills of quantities (BQ) and detailed cost build-ups for M&E-related works.

. Source, evaluate and negotiate supplier/subcontractor quotations prepare bid comparisons and recommendations.

. Prepare tender submissions, clarification responses and value-engineering options where appropriate.

B) Post-Contract / Cost Control

. Administer subcontracts: prepare/issue POs, track variations and maintain subcontractor cost records.

. Prepare and submit progress claims, payment responses and monthly valuations/cost reports.

. Evaluate subcontractor progress claims and certify payments based on verified measurement and site progress.

. Manage variation orders (VO), claims and supporting documentation track budget impacts.

. Prepare, negotiate and close final accounts with clients/subcontractors.

C) Commercial Administration & Documentation

. Maintain accurate cost files, correspondence, measurement records and claim substantiation for audit/compliance.

. Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Site Teams and Procurement to ensure cost and scope alignment.

. Support internal improvements to commercial templates, trackers and pricing libraries to improve turnaround and control.

Requirements

. Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident (mandatory).

. Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying / Building / Electrical / Mechanical / M&E (or equivalent).

. 1-5 years relevant QS experience preferred strong junior candidates may be considered.

. Exposure to M&E measurement and costing (e.g., cable works, ducting/trenching interfaces, piping, equipment installation) is an advantage.

. Strong grasp of measurement, commercial negotiation, and contract documentation.

. Proficient in Microsoft Excel familiarity with take-off tools (e.g., Bluebeam/CostX) is a plus.

. Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple quotations/projects with clear follow-up and ownership.
