About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to manage tendering, cost estimation, contract administration, and project cost control for construction projects in Singapore. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered within budget while maintaining contractual compliance and commercial efficiency.

Position: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Tuas South
Salary: Up to $5000 (depending on experience)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare tender documents, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BQ), and tender submissions
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
  • Review tender and contract documents, identify discrepancies, and seek necessary clarifications
  • Manage project costs, budgeting, cash flow, and financial reporting
  • Prepare and administer progress claims, variation orders (VO), and final accounts
  • Prepare LOI/LOA and manage subcontractor awards and related documentation
  • Evaluate and certify subcontractors claims and variation works
  • Conduct site measurements, site visits, and attend project meetings when required
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, company policies, and industry regulations
  • Perform other quantity surveying duties as assigned by Management

Requirements:

  • Minimum Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience in Singapore's construction industry
  • Experience in tendering, cost estimation, budgeting, cost control, and contract administration
  • Good understanding of progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction specifications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and relevant cost-estimating software
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Meticulous, organized, and detail-oriented

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience handling construction projects in Singapore
  • Familiarity with local construction contracts, regulations, and industry practices
  • Proven ability to manage project costs and budgets effectively
