Job Summary
Manage all quantity surveying activities across pre-contract and post-contract stages to support successful project delivery and cost control for diverse building projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead preparation and submission of tender documentation during pre-contract stage to secure project opportunities
- Source and evaluate quotations and tender submissions to ensure competitive and compliant bids
- Perform detailed take-off of bills of quantities to support accurate cost estimation and tendering
- Manage sub-contract procurement by conducting price comparisons and preparing Sub-Contract Agreements to optimize project costs
- Prepare and submit monthly progress claims and variation work documentation to maintain cash flow and contract compliance
- Assess sub-contractors claims and prepare Payment Responses to ensure accurate and timely payments
- Compile Final Accounts for both Main Contracts and Sub-Contracts to close out projects financially
- Administer contracts by maintaining comprehensive contract documentation and providing expert advice on pre-contract and post-contract matters to mitigate risks
- Coordinate and follow up all quantity surveying related matters promptly and cost-effectively to support project timelines and budgets
- Attend site meetings and conduct site measurements to verify quantities and resolve contract issues
- Adapt to evolving project needs by performing additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to contribute to overall project success
