Attend site show-rounds and site visits for tender and quotation purposes.
Carry out measurement and quantity take-offs.
Review tender documents, drawings, scope of works, and specifications.
Prepare internal Bills of Quantities (BQ) for tender submissions and quotations.
Request, obtain, and negotiate quotations with suppliers and subcontractors.
Compile and verify relevant scope of works, drawings, and specifications from suppliers/subcontractors.
Coordinate site visits with subcontractors and internal operations teams.
Follow up with clients on tender/quotation status and update the potential project/job list accordingly.
Prepare progress claims and progress reports for billing submissions to clients or main contractors.
Assist in billing submissions and request tax invoices when necessary.
Follow up on payments with clients or main contractors and maintain company collections.
Prepare documentation for adjudication under the Security of Payment (SOP) Act when necessary.
Prepare and update cost control forms, new project information forms, project update forms, completion forms, and project closure forms.
Update and maintain records for collections, payment responses, and billing status in the ageing report.
Requirements:
Good command of spoken and written English
Shall possess a Degree in Quantity Surveying or a Degree in Civil Engineering or a Diploma in Quantity Surveying or any allied qualification related to construction
Possess initiative, analytical thinking abilities and able to work both independently and as a team
Possess positive attitude and interpersonal relationship skills
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience fresh graduates are welcome to apply
Experience in the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment (SOP) Act, with familiarity in Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract (PSSCOC) and the Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA) Building Contract, will be an advantage.
