Job Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates and quotations for electrical works.
- Assist in tender preparation, evaluation and submission.
- Source quotations and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Prepare and assess progress claims, variation orders and subcontractor claims.
- Review project drawings, specifications and tender documents.
- Monitor project costs and maintain proper commercial and contractual documentation.
- Coordinate with project teams, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers on QS matters.
- Conduct site visits and verify work progress when required.
- Support project cost control and other quantity surveying duties.
- Work will be based at both office and project sites.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, Building Services or related discipline.
- Candidates with an Electrical / M&E background are preferred.
- Able to understand electrical drawings and project requirements.
- Candidates with QS experience in electrical or M&E construction projects will have an advantage.
- Good communication, coordination and numerical skills.
