Quantity Surveyor cum Designer

Responsibilities

• Conduct precise site measurements to inform design and project planning
• Prepare and manage progress claims and Variation Order (V.O.) claims to ensure accurate project billing and documentation
• Engage with clients to capture their needs, preferences, and budget requirements for tailored design solutions
• Develop innovative design concepts, mood boards, and layouts that align with client objectives and project goals
• Prepare detailed space planning, select appropriate materials, and define colour schemes to enhance design outcomes
• Produce comprehensive drawings, specifications, and presentation materials to communicate design intent effectively
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to facilitate seamless project execution and resource management
• Conduct site visits to monitor design implementation and ensure adherence to quality standards
• Manage project timelines proactively to guarantee on-time delivery of design projects
• Oversee costing and budgeting for ongoing and tender projects to maintain financial control
• Process payment claims and final accounts accurately to support project financial closure
• Evaluate and review terms and conditions of contracts to mitigate risks and ensure compliance
• Ensure all project activities comply with local regulations and safety standards to maintain a safe working environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support project and organizational objectives
