We are hiring a Quantity Surveyor to manage cost estimation, subcontractor tender documentation, and overall coordination on an active construction project.
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute all aspects of quantity surveying according to professional standards and best practices in accordance with company policy
- Carry out detailed quantity measurements for construction activities ensuring cost efficiency measures.
- Source supplier and subcontractor quotations and perform cost analysis for selection.
- Review and verify subcontractor claims, progress billings, and variation submissions according to PSSCOC contracts in and the governing Security of Payments Act.
- Draft formal correspondence to subcontractors in coordination with contract administration.
- Manage internal approval workflows and documentation through the ERP platform.
- Maintain tracking systems for subcontractor payments, bonds, and other contractual records.
- Work closely with project teams on-site to resolve subcontractor-related matters including disputes.
- Support engineering tasks and assist with other technical duties on-site as required.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Min. 3 years relevant QS experience in the construction industry.
- Competent in using AutoCAD for 2D and 3D drawings.
- Strong drive in cost management efficiencies, provide cost improvement ideas whilst balancing risks management
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholders
- Available to work 5 day workweek (8am-6pm) and once a month on a Sat, full-day.
