Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Attend site show-rounds to gather project requirements and assess site conditions for tender preparation
• Extract quantities and solicit quotations from vendors to support accurate tender submissions
• Prepare all necessary documentation for timely and compliant tender submissions
• Procure sub-contract works by preparing cost comparisons for management decision-making
• Draft and issue Letters of Intent, Letters of Acceptance, and sub-contract documents to formalize agreements
• Compute cost estimates and submit variation orders to clients to manage project scope changes
• Prepare monthly progress claims and cash flow reports for client review and approval
• Compile final claim statements to ensure accurate project financial closure with clients
• Attend site meetings to coordinate contract administration
• Prepare progress payments for sub-contractors to maintain timely cash flow
• Assess sub-contractor claims and finalize accounts to ensure contractual compliance and financial accuracy
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support project and contract administration
• Manage tasks independently with minimal supervision to ensure efficiency and accountability
• Organize work diligently and responsibly to meet deadlines and quality standards
• Collaborate effectively as a self-motivated team player with strong communication skills to support project goals
