Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Cost Planning & Estimation: Preparing budget estimates, cost plans, and detailed bills of quantities (BQ) from design stages to completion.
• Cost Control & Reporting: Monitoring project costs, conducting Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR), and preparing monthly reports to ensure budget adherence.
• Valuations & Final Accounts: Evaluating subcontractor work progress, verifying payment claims, and settling final accounts with stakeholders.
• Contract Administration: Handling contractual disputes, variations, and ensuring compliance with legal standards
• Site Management: Liaising with project managers, clients, and site engineers to oversee project progress and costs.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building/Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience in construction, preferably in facade industry.
• Skills: Strong analytical and numerical skills, proficiency in cost software and Excel, in-depth understanding of construction contracts and legal regulations.
• Attributes: Good negotiation skills and meticulous attention to detail
