Alleviative Engineering Pte. Ltd.

We are seeking a patient, highly organized, and detail-oriented individual to join us as a Quantity Surveyor cum Administrative Executive.

This role supports our M&E, ACMV, Fire Protection, Electrical, and General Builder/Renovation works, as well as the Minor Works and Service Team.

The ideal candidate must be comfortable coordinating with project teams, suppliers, and clients while managing both QS responsibilities and administrative duties in a fast-paced contractor environment.

Job Summary

Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities

You will assist in cost estimation, budgeting, procurement, VO evaluation, and contract administration for AEPL's core trades:

  • Mechanical & Electrical (M&E)
  • General Builder & Renovation Works

Administrative Executive Responsibilities

You will handle quotations, invoicing, purchasing, scheduling, coordination, data entry, and general office administration for both project and minor works jobs.

Key Responsibilities

Quantity Surveying

  • Prepare quantity take-offs, costing, and material/labour estimates for the works.
  • Conduct take-offs from drawings, site photos, and specifications.
  • Assist in preparing tender submissions, pricing sheets, and supporting documents.
  • Source quotations from suppliers/subcontractors and negotiate competitive rates.
  • Issue POs, track procurement, and manage delivery schedules.
  • Evaluate VOs, prepare progress claims, and assist with contract administration.
  • Support project engineers/managers in cost control and budget monitoring.
  • Prepare periodic cost reports and updates for management.
  • Ability to perform all CAD drawings when required.

Administrative & Operations Support

  • Prepare quotations for minor works, repairs, and maintenance jobs.
  • Issue invoices, delivery orders, and statements of accounts.
  • Handle calls, WhatsApp messages, emails, and customer enquiries.
  • Schedule manpower, deliveries, and site works with technical teams.
  • Maintain filing systems, contracts, supplier records, and admin databases.
  • Handle procurement tasks, raise POs, track deliveries, and follow up on lead times.
  • Prepare HR/admin documentation where required (records, forms, etc.).

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction, Engineering, Business, or related fields.
  • 3-4 years of experience in QS, contract admin, or project admin within M&E, ACMV, Fire Protection, Electrical, or Renovation works preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Good communication skills with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word).
  • High accuracy, attention to detail, and strong follow-through.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with construction/engineering workflows and terminology is an advantage.
  • Basic accounting or HR knowledge is a bonus.
